Thanks Bruce, Linda, Margaret & Pamela… Bruce, I think the Rss link is still working, it updates mine. But yours does not update on my reader for some reason I have to check your blog manually. Maybe the problem is on your end? I’m looking forward to getting back to the door today!

You have far greater patience than I to fiddle with restoring things. I hope the fee link still works because you were not updated in my Google reader. You know I prefer lighter backgrounds. How’s the door plroject?

So glad to see you are back in the blogging business, Ruth!
Since you can read my mind before I can, I don’t know why I am taking up a comment box to tell you I prefer a light background. For me it is a mood thing. Black is a little claustraphobic for me, sometimes.The gray (or darker) background works well for your website.
I remember enjoying your painting of your mom holding you as a baby, before your blog crashed. Don’t forget to repost that one! Hope you are taking a well deserved rest after restoring your blog.

Ruth,
So glad to see your blog back.I missed you while you were gone. My vote is probably obvious since I chose a light background for my own blog. So I prefer light, however, I do see that your paintings really stand out on the black.
What a hassle you’ve been through. I better save my blog and pray I don’t have a similar experience.

I can read it fine now Ruth, I couldn’t earlier.
I like what you have, though I understand the thought of lighter.
(I’ve been working on a web site and ALL of these things are up for consideration-so I do understand).
The ones that are difficult to read usually for me are red lettering on black-amazing How Many times I’ve seen it.
Good luck with this and Glad to see you up again.

I know about the photos, still trying to find them…. everything really got messed up. I’m working on getting a new theme uploaded that will be lighter. Have been enjoying your blog too. You have been so faithful about posting. As soon as I get the blog straightened up again I can get back to regular posting.
