If you want another comment, I am leaning toward the fish market, it draws me in. The young girl seems to be at peace and in her own zone cleaning the fish, just like the artist was when she was painting this picture .

Congratulations on your sale! It’s nice to hear you feeling more positive about your art. It’s so lovely and personal.
I like the relationship in Mother and Daughter, but like Linda, the length of the arm has bothered me.
Fish Market has a great design and wonderful rich colors. Both good paintings in my book.

Hi Ruth,
I think I like your Mother/Daughter painting the best. So much like so many mothers and daughters that you see in the market or the shopping mall. Reminds me of my husband’s sister and her daughter. Together but not together. Love all your paintings.

Mother and Daughter makes the me think. I am being picky to comment on the length of the woman’s arm hanging down. If it is intentional, both figures are anatomically correct, except for the one arm. When you exagerrated arthritic hands, in a painting you did years ago, it worked for me. This is just a bit too distorted and that swings my vote to the Fish Market.
