Ruth, Your new “life” on the farm with the baby chicks, reminds me of us many years ago when we had baby everything after we moved onto a 5 acre “farm”. It is so much fun, you will love it. My inspiration? There are many things that inspire me, but Mother Nature is what most brings me good mental and physical well-being. Without that, I’d never make it into the studio. Beyond that it might be a memory, an image from a photo, a story I want to tell. Once the painting is begun, I’m driven by colors and shapes.
